Dr. Roger Gfeller Memorial Golf Tournament
To Benefit the Roger Gfeller Memorial Scholarship Fund at KSU College of Veterinary Medicine

Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort, Phoenix, AZ.
In association with the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Symposium 2008.
Invited Players
All IVECCS attendees, VECCS and ACVECC members, IVECCS Exhibitors and any other veterinary personnel, family members and guests are invited.
Format (choose one)

- Low Gross / Low Net (Official USGA Handicap required)
- Scramble (4 person)—In a scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. The team reports a single score per hole.
Sequential tee times start at 1:33 pm unless more than 56 players sign up, then a shotgun start will be used.

Registration
Gfeller Golf Tournament Registration Form
Players can sign up one of three ways:
- Sign up for Low Gross / Low Net.
- Sign up to be partnered with others for the Scramble.
- Sign up for the Scramble and list the other 3 players on your team. Each of the other players must also register in advance.
Registration Fee
Registration is $150, $50 of which goes to Roger's scholarship fund.
Additional Scholarship Contribution
Each registrant is also given the option to designate an additional amount on their registration form that goes to Roger's scholarship fund.
Rental Clubs
New premium Callaway golf clubs are available to rent for $60 (includes 6 golf balls).
Mulligans for Sale
$100 for 5 mulligans. These mulligans apply only to the individual who purchases them. Proceeds from the mulligan sale go to the scholarship fund.

Contests
All contests entered with registration for the tournament. Prizes awarded.)
- Individual Low Gross (no mulligans)
- Individual Low Net (no mulligans)
- Individual Low Net (including purchased mulligans)
- Scramble Low Score (including purchased mulligans)
- Longest Drive
- Closest to the Pin (Par 3)
- Left-handed Closest to the Pin (Par 3)—Roger was a left-handed golfer. In his honor, everyone hits an extra tee ball left handed on one par 3. Closest to the pin (on the green) wins. (Natural lefties will hit right-handed)
- Hole-in-One (Par 3)
- Hawaiian Shirt Contest—Roger loved his Hawaiian shirts. In his honor, the wearing of a Hawaiian shirt is encouraged. Prizes awarded for the "Best Hawaiian Shirt" and "Wildest Hawaiian Shirt".
Sponsors Needed!
Gold Sponsor—$1,000
Gold Sponsors will be listed as tournament sponsors with names on the beverage cart. Sponsors may provide gifts or prizes, but are not required to do so.
Silver Sponsor—$500
Silver Sponsors will sponsor an individual golf hole with a sign placed on the tee box. Sponsors must provide gifts or prizes.
Bronze Sponsor—$100
Bronze Sponsors must provide gifts or prizes (with or without company logo). Suggested gifts or prizes: golf balls, golf towels, golf hats and others (to be pre-approved).
Hole-in-One Sponsor
Sponsor donates a major prize (equipment, car, etc.—sponsor can obtain hole-in-one insurance to cover cost). A hole-in-one on the designated par 3 wins the prize.
All sponsorship monies and all proceeds in excess of expenses go to the Roger Gfeller Memorial Scholarship Fund at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. All donations are tax deductible.
